Principia Ethica

Principia Ethica, first published in 1903, emphasizes the indefinability of "good" and defends the objectivity and multiplicity of values. The author argues that knowledge of values can only be derived from intuition of the goodness of affairs such as beauty, pleasure, and knowledge.
