This book is written by students, faculty, and staff of CVCC as well as members of the colleges' community partners including the Catawba County Historical Museum in Newton, NC. The Catawba County Historical Museum receives a portion of every sale of "Polio, Pitchforks, and Perseverance" to ensure the collection and protection of Catawba County's history. Redhawk Publications will publish additional books, documentaries, and projects concerned with preserving the history of Catawba and its surrounding NC counties.
