Nightmare Abbey

Thomas Love Peacock was a 19th-century English novelist and poet. Peacock was also a close friend to the legendary poet Percy Bysshe Shelley and they both were key influences in each other's work. Peacock was noted for his satirical novels. Nightmare Abbey is Peacock's most famous work. The book is a gothic satire that made fun of the Romantic movement in English literature. The story centers around the fortunes of Christoper Glowry.
