The bin Laden Papers

On May 20, 2015, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a sizable collection of documents recovered during the raid on the compound used to hide Osama bin Laden. The release, which followed a rigorous interagency review, aligns with President Obama’s call for increased transparency–consistent with national security prerogatives–and the 2014 Intelligence Authorization Act, which required the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to conduct a review of the documents for release. What follows are those papers exactly as released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence organized by date, when that date is known.
