This is a compilation of the stories of several people who grew up in and around Goodwater, a small town in Coosa County Alabama. It is a description of a life long past but fondly remembered. Friends were for life and sometimes life was too short! Lessons learned and passed on much as the town itself. Clyde, Papa Jim, Percy and others are characters you will meet along the way that made Goodwater back then a real life Mayberry!
