Spencer Jacobs' life was ordinary, boring even. Her daily routine never varied, she worked as a full time nurse and raised her four year old daughter, Luci, as a single mother. But her entire life was turned upside down the day of the break in. The day she and Luci were attacked by a Berith. The day a mysterious, handsome stranger rescued them, transporting them from the safety and seclusion of South East Texas to New Orleans. She, along with her Watcher, Donovan Chambers, had to find the lost Vessel which contained the Pilgrim's Blood to ensure the survival of their families as well as their Coven. Failure was not an option and their quest was made even more difficult by the evil Berith Society, whose members tracked and fought them every step of the way across historical sites in Louisiana and Texas. Suddenly thrust into a world she believed couldn't possibly exist and nothing was as it appeared, Spencer had to embrace her true self and accept not only her birthright, but her destiny as well. The lost Vessel had to be found. Her very life, along with that of her daughter, depended on it.
