The Upper Canyons of the Rio Grande is a guide to paddling, kayaking or rafting the Rio Grande between Presidio, Texas and Terlingua Creek in the Big Bend National Park. The guide includes the popular river segments of Colorado Canyon and Santa Elena Canyon. The guidebook provides information for the river access, as well as permit requirements and river regulations for the entities through which the river runs, including the Big Bend Ranch State Park, the Big Bend National Park and the Rio Grande Wild and Scenic River.
