Carcassi, Matteo: 25 Etudes for Guitar (Op. 60): A classic, edited for modern guitar players.

Note: standard notation only, with no tablature.Matteo Carcassi's "Etudes" have been helping guitar players develop their guitar technique and gain a firm understanding of the workings of the instrument for hundreds of years. Since the author has been dead for hundreds of years, we decided to offer this edition for the lowest price possible. This book has been published many times since it was written, but each edition has the same 25 etudes--including this one. We've arranged this book so that both "contemporary" or pick-style guitar players, as well as classical players, can benefit. The etudes which are most suitable to be played with a pick are in the beginning of the book, with the remaining etudes following. Other edits: we have also added some commentary and removed the original fingering markings. We would suggest that most players who are ready to tackle these etudes should consider devising their own fingerings and maybe even adding their own markings.
