Linear Algebra (Textbooks in Mathematics)

This is the second of a two-part set of books for the undergraduate linear algebra sequence. The text is for the more advanced course taught in most mathematics departments. This course is based around matrix theory and focused on the theory of linear algebra. In addition to the chapters found in the author's Elementary Linear Algebra, here he offers seven additional chapters including the Jordan Canonical Form and The Perron-Frobenius Theorem, The book emphasizes intutition as well as rigor. It offers a historical perspective.
