Eli's Journey is a story based on Elijah MacGowan, a fictional character. It tells of his ancestor's migration from Scotland to America and their succeeding generations in Virginia and Tennessee. The story paints a tale of the struggles they faced; the wars, hardships, life, death, battles with nature, and man's struggle with "The Almighty".
