Description:
Melvin L. Hubbard, most recently was the Managing Member of Hubbard Gold & Platinum Mining LLC. He has been in the mining business since 1947. He has designed and operated many types of mills for processing gold and other metals. He has designed, installed and operated mills consisting of gravity concentration, floatation cells, copper leaching, gold and silver cyanidation, carbon adsorption, electrolytic stripping and a tungsten carbide melting/sparging process pilot plant. He has employed up to 450 employees at one time. His inventions are designed, constructed, tested, to bring them to commercial practice. He has sold patents to Borg-Warner Corp., McCulloch Corp., Cominco and smaller companies. He presently owns several foreign patents and U.S. Patent rights. He is the sole inventor of MicroCon and KEG. He has piloted his own aircraft since 1947, owned eight different planes and logged over 6,000 hours of flight time. He is currently developing a method of “mining” gold ore in place from above ground. Non-toxic fluids are pumped into primarily gold ore bodies that have been fracked and dissolved. The solution flows to a sump that is electroplated out at the surface. The product is about 98% gold and has other metals that can be sold with the gold. This system eliminates a lot of ecological problems, is safe and the surface area is all that is disturbed.
