Understanding Orchards (English): Soil and Biodiversity in Fruit Trees

Whether in a schoolyard, backyard or local park, more and more North Americans are growing their own fruit. This booklet includes lessons that can be integrated into the curriculum to help students explore how fruit grows, and can even be used as part of a school project to have young people design and plan their own school orchard.
