Let Me Tell You A Story

These vignettes are the memoirs of members of a life writing class in New Iberia, Louisiana, who created tales of family and places around the world--stories by cowboys, teachers, doctors, nurses, and workers in offices and on farms expressed with wisdom and humor. Love of their ancestors and place have inspired the authors, and a variety of writing styles are exhibited in their work. These personal memoirs place a value on a moment in time and are not concerned with life outcomes; special photographs that capture the "moment in time often accompany them."
