Failed Hollywood screenwriter Mark West loses his contract, agent, car and girlfreind all in the same day he learns his father has been injured and mother killed in car accident in the small midwestern town he thought he'd left behind forever. Broke, desperate and nothing on the horizon, Mark boards a plane and returns to reconnect with his dying town and estranged family in this fish out of water, black comedy, rural noir, of life, death, depression, self awareness, and the depth that family loyalties can transend.
