Genes, Memes, Culture, and Mental Illness: Toward an Integrative Model

This examination of genetic and memetic evolution shows how mental disorders can arise from gene-meme interaction. Offering examples of gene-meme interactions resulting in depression, the author proposes a genetic-memetic model for diagnosing mental illness.
