This is a public welfare project developed by the North America Maple Cultural Center during the pandemic to serve the youth. Seventy-one young Chinese descendants, from 6 to 16 years old, spent one year on drawing 290 images. This hand-drawn picture book traces and connects the footsteps of the Chinese immigrants in North America during the 160 years from 1788 to 1947. It is characterized by strong storytelling, vivid pictures, and being easy to understand for the youth.
