Nature's Christmas Story
Description:
Animals of the Alaskan tundra receive word of the birth of the Christ Child in Bethlehem. With great excitement they discuss the possibility of giving the new born babe a gift. But it would have to be a very special gift for such a special baby, said the ermine. None of the animals could agree on what the gift should be. Finally they all decide to visit the Arctic angel to see what her gift advice would be. The angel suggests a very simple gift and the group of animals are surprised. Why hadn't they thought of it? When the gift was delivered to the Christ Child in Bethlehem the animals that made that delivery underwent a startling change. Those same changes have occurred each fall for the past two thousand years as a reminder of that perfect gift. At Christmas or any other time of the year, for that matter, each one of us has the opportunity to present a similar gift to the Christ Child!
