A Plain Account of Christian Perfection
Description:
John Wesley was born in 1703 in Lincolnshire, England. After being educated at Charterhouse and Oxford, he traveled to the American colonies to serve as minister in Savannah, Georgia. On his return to England he preached in churches, chapels, and in the open air, often preaching two or three times in a single day. His literary output included hundreds of sermons and tracts along with his journals. Wesley's preaching continues to be influenctial to this day. In A PLAIN ACCOUNT OF CHRISTIAN PERFECTION John Wesley sets out, in his own words, what he really believes about "Christian Perfection" or "entire sanctification." This volume describes the development of his thinking over the years and gives Scriptural references.
