The Bluebell Railway

The Bluebell Railway is the premier preserved line. Some eighteen visits were made by David Christie, mostly in the transformative 1969–1972 period when the line was changing from a sleepy little branch to one with bigger engines. With an array of incredible unpublished photography covering the heyday of this iconic line, from 1964 to 1993, Christie offers a wonderfully nostalgic and brilliantly evocative record of this wonderful period in the life of the Bluebell Railway.
