Death Of Anton

Seven Bengal tigers are the star attraction of Carey's Circus. Their trainer is the fearless Anton, whose work demands absolute fitness and the steadiest of nerves - especially when dealing with Peter, the oldest, largest, and most dangerous animal. When Anton is found lying dead in the tigers' cage, it seems that Peter has finally won the long struggle for dominance and mauled his master - but Detective-Inspector Minto is not convinced. His investigations lead him deep into the circus world of tents and caravans, clowns and acrobats, performers human and animal, where nobody is above suspicion as the mystery deepens.
