The Stone Gallows

After three months in intensive care, DC Cameron Stone could recall his high-speed pursuit of a vice baron through Glasgow that took the life of a teenage mother and her child. And Audrey had left him, taking their son, Mark, with her... Unable to return to his old job he works for a private detective, trying to track down a teenage runaway. It's been a bad week. Access to Mark gets difficult. He's roughed up when he finds his runaway, and there's the daubing on his door: 'Burn in Hell Baby Killer.' The only brightness on his horizon is his growing friendship with Liz... But things get worse for Stone - somebody is out to destroy him and everything he loves - unless he gets to them first.
