Latina daughters finally have a chance to honor their mothers and inspire readers -- by paying homage in this book to the strong women who have sacrificed and struggled, laughed and cried, and fought hard to create a better life for their daughters. Maria Perez-Brown spoke with Latinas from a variety of nationalities and lifestyles -- some are famous, and some not so well known.
