Rage of a War-mage

Some religions spoke of two saviors to come while others warned of twin destroyers. The Prophesy had always been hard to interpret, but Thomas was sure he had found one of the foretold twins: a boy by the name of Rathamar left alone in a cruel world by the tragic death of his parents. The boy, Thomas saw, viewed the world with watchful distrust but also with the insatiable curiosity of youth. Thomas had hoped he could guide Rath’s fate by showing him that not all things in life are bad. But Thomas is assassinated before he can teach Rath this. Once more Rath is left alone and now he has the blood of the assassin on his hands.
