Anacalypsis: An Attempt to Draw Aside the Veil of the Saitic or an Inquiry into the Origin of Languages, Nations and Religions' is the result of more than twenty years of research by Godfrey Higgins and is an effort by the author to uncover 'a most ancient and universal religion from which all later creeds and doctrines sprang.' A lengthy and extensively researched history, 'Anacalypsis' provides valuable insight into the origins of religion. Presented here is the first of two parts of the first of two volumes.
