How to Support Children With Problem Behavior

This 50 page manual is designed to provide caregivers with information that will be useful in the design of procedures to support children with behavior problems. The information is based on research conducted over the last fifty years that has been validated in schools, homes, and other community settings with children exhibiting behavior disorders. This particular manual is devoted to the needs of children with autism spectrum disorders; however, treatment methods similar to those described here have been shown to be effective with children with other developmental disabilities, as well as with acquired disorders such as traumatic brain injury.
