The Truth Is-a practical reminder of timeless promises from the Word of God-is a versatile tool for the parent or teacher, the business person or lay minister. Written in an easy-to-reference format, this small devotional book can be kept: In a purse or diaper bag In an office or classroom setting For short family devotionals over a meal On a bedside table or in the car For lay counseling or easy scripture memorization This inspirational writing came into being when author Eileen Alia began meditating on the promises in God's Word and applying these truths over circumstances in her life. Alia's collection of enduring promises is an effective tool designed to help the reader focus on the Word and not the problem. Alia combines her love for studying God's Word with her education. She earned a B.A. in Special Education and Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Theology, and then began her teaching career working with homebound children and as a substitute teacher. She currently teaches and serves as supervisor of the lower elementary classes in a Christian academy.
