With them are teammates Tommy Catelle, a twenty-one-year-old musician who may just be curious enough to get his entire team killed, and Susan Lucas, who, though just following the lead of her teammates, is carrying enough emotional baggage to sink them all. They must learn to trust one another while navigating their way through emotional and physical nightmares that threaten their very existence. And one by one they face the fears that only The Maze seems to know.
