The tumor had been known to exist for at least four years. Both ovaries were healthy. The fluid removed weighed twenty-six pounds and the cyst eleven ounces. Dr. A. T. Cabot reported that the fluid was slightly alkaline, sp. Gr. 1005. And that it contained a small quantity of albu men and no mucin. She recovered quickly.
