Lightfoot had himself made preparations for an edition of Ephesians; but only an introductory Essay and notes on the first fourteen verses have seen the light (biblical Essays, pp. 375 - 396; Notes on Epistles of St Paul, pp. 307 A more solid contribution to the study of the epistle is to be found in Hort's Introductory Lectures (prolegomena to Romans and Ephesians, pp. 63 I have nothing to add to the discussion of the authorship of this epistle which these lectures contain.
