Not illustrated. 1857 Excerpt: ... termination in N (f or fr) as already noticed is dropt at pleasure, because the letter N occurs so frequently that it is not consistent with harmony: which is primarily considered in Telugu verse. Even in common talking it is often dropt. The syllable a VI (»Sa, i&otSa) which terminates the second person singular of the past tense, is often dropt. Thus in M. 1. 1. 174. 3?0 is written for 3£©8 and this frequently occurs in common talking. The negative aorist is sometimes compounded with the verb fc5£)Aj to become, in this manner. (c) The compound form "SwSfoQStt occurs in a stanza of the Vedanta Rasayan describing the appearance of our Lord to the Marys after the resurrection.
