The original of the Hebrew collection consisted of "the precepts of the Pentateuch," which may be said to be the Jewish Torah, which signifies or denotes the whole lav, and in the Egyptian Teruu signifies all, entirely the whole laws. Shu-Anhur was the giver of laws to man as revealed by Ra, and is mentioned in the Ritual as the author of writings called " His rules and laws and his papyrus " although R£'tl0lt/ is of opinion that the God Taht is meant R. B. of D., chap. cx.), but Renouf is wrong in this as Shu is said to work in the abode of the books of Seb--i.c. of earth (Ritual, chap. xvii.). This can be identified with the Great Library at Annu, " The papyrus Mahit of Shu " as mentioned in the Ritzml--" I am in unison with his succes si'e-changes and his laws (or rules) and his writings" (Ritual, _ chap. cx.). The Book of the Laws is the Book of.Ia or.Iati, which was presented by the duality o.f Shu-Anhur, the Lord of Truth or Mati. The writings of Shu-Anhur were preserved at Annu amongst the 36,000 books that were traditionally ascribed to ' Australia, New Guinea, ava and 'est Taht.
