No Tacos For Lunch (Carolina Arbors Murder Mysteries)

Detective Vinder of the Durham Police Department is initially confronted with the abduction of a woman who works on a food truck, parked in the Carolina Arbors neighborhood. All indications are that one of her boyfriends has committed the crime, but who are they? A white Mercedes has been seen near the truck, indicating perhaps another suspect. Then a body is found and Vinder, with the help of Officer Ramón Acosta, follows his ABC rule: Assume Nothing, Believe Nobody and Check Everything. In the end, Vinder turns to the Thursday Afternoon Sleuths Book Club members to help analyze his timeline.
