Star quarterback Chase Mayberry is about to earn a full ride to Alabama when his dreams are dashed by a string of concussions. Chase takes a job on a farm, where former golf pros Lesley and Mick Fiddle are building a new course. Lesley shows Chase how to swing a club, and he catches on fast. But when he tries out for his high school team, Chase meets the dark side of the game. Golf, he learns, unleashes the competitive demons between teammates like no other sport. His new flame is the top player on the girls’ team, but she’s no Lesley. Suddenly, Chase is ensnared in two battles more intense than anything he’s faced on the football field.
