The purpose of this 4-page laminate is to describe the Pattern of Strengths and Weaknesses (PSW) method for specific learning disability (SLD) identification. Five PSW methods are summarized and the most salient conceptual and practical similarities and differences among them are highlighted. Resources for each PSW method are also provided.
