River Flowers

Bob Romano’s recent book River Flowers is a collection of short stories and fishing tales set in the North Woods of Maine where Romano spends much time during the summer. With a touch of heart, soul, and sense of place these stories of finding love, growing old or just touching one’s inner self in the pursuit of Maine’s splendid brook trout aka “river flowers” take the reader into a special world worth the visit. As with his other books, in true Romano fashion, one can smell the woods, hear the rivers, and just be there in a wonderful world many of us will never experience.
