Into the Heart of Darkness: A Month in the Congo

Travel with Dalen Garris as he ventures into the Congo with a message of revival. The Congo (DRC) suffered from years of terrible oppression, lawlessness, and pestilence where 5.4 million people died in less than 10 years of warfare. A darkness has descended on this land that can be felt the moment you cross the border. It is here that we find an established church that had become stagnant and stuck in old denominational traditions. But in the midst of these rigid pillars of religion, there is a generation of men and women, pastors and believers who are desperately hungry for a renewed move of God. Into the Heart of Darkness is a series of daily letters that follow Brother Dale through the excitement of seeing Light burst through the darkness as God liberates His people through the power of the Holy Spirit. This is not like most mission trips that we hear about, but a foray into battle to bring Light into the midst of the very heart of darkness.
