Idonia Creation

Creation is the first book in The Idonia Saga that sets the stage for our society's interaction with beings from a dimension beyond our own. The story begins in modern-day America with Ally, Rachel, and Erin; three friends who have moved from their childhood home in rural Arkansas to the city of Little Rock to take their final steps into adulthood. In doing so, they meet a family that will change their lives forever, the Brownings. The family holds obscure, bombastic beliefs and is clearly hiding a number of secrets. What's more, their beliefs may just prove true. When it becomes apparent that a series of local murders are in some way connected to the Brownings and the friends begin having visions of a world beyond our own, they must choose between learning more about this family and the world in which they believe or the safety and security of the lives they've always known.A sprawling urban-science fantasy, The Idonia Saga explores the challenges faced in venturing out in the world to forge one's own path in becoming the adults one wishes to be. They will all meet people who think and believe differently than they, and they must decide how they will approach those situations. The story of these friends' journey is set against the backdrop of an even larger tale of a cosmic society both ancient and eternal, that provides a glimpse into the next step of human progression and poses the question of what new struggles humanity will face when they begin to wander out into the galaxy. Each of the characters' individual stories of self-discovery, familial ties, betrayal, and finding their purpose are intertwined with tales of romance and mystery set within the War of the Four Orders that has been raging for eons with the fate of our world and many others in the balance.
