This book is a testament to the power of collaborative, liberatory approaches to research,curriculum, and pedagogy. As scholars, educators, and activists who work within a teachereducation program, we believe that Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) is a toolthat can be used to push back against the status quo within teacher education and K-12schools.
