Obras Históricas: The Mesoamerican Creation Myth, Royal Genealogy, Kings Annals and Ce Ácatl... (Ancient Manuscripts)
Description:
This softcover is an English Translation of "Obras Históricas", the first ten chapters that are the historical and genealogy accounts ("annals", per say) of the Chichimeca Royal Dynasty in the Ancient Mesoamerican territory. The annals include "The Four Ages", with brief reference to their gods, the giants, and the arrival from the Orient of the charismatic and grave bearded-youth "Quetzálcoatl" (also known as Ce Ácatl and Huémac). The annals also document the invasion from Aztlán of at least two tribes traveling in the same ship fleet. The "Tlatelocas" and the "Tenochas", who although traveling together, were rivals in sacerdotal doctrine. They were prone to dispute and war pertaining to the doctrine of an "Eagle", and occupied separate territories upon arrival to the Ancient Mesoamerican territory due to this deep-set belief system. The Tenochas are known in today's world as the "Aztecs". This is modern 'slang', per say, their name in actually being "the Tenochas".
