The main setting for the work takes place in the old Colonnades Beach Hotel where No Sweat came to know John D. MacArthur. Besides MacArthur, No Sweat relays many stories involving Rose and Ted Kennedy, Burt Reynolds, Arlo Guthrie, Francis Ford Coppola and Jacques Piccard.
