Dare to Try
Description:
Starting a church is no ¿pattern¿ work. Di erent sized towns, personalities of pastors, and countless other factors make each church a complete original. Because of the uniqueness of each church, I asked twenty men, who had started a church, to give me some of their information and to brie y tell their story to help encourage those who may be considering starting a church. Some of these pastors had money and some had none. Some pastors had families while others were newlyweds. To all who would dare to try, we say, ¿Go on, start a church!¿To write about the building of a church and do it justice would take several large books. This is only a small microscopic snapshot of all the wonderful things that God has done through His people¿not a blueprint, not something to be exactly copied but perhaps some ideas from which to glean.
