20 Poems 20 Paintings A Creative Warrior's Journal

This is an archival quality edition. I designed this book to facilitate the creativity of the co-creators who will complete it. After the Preface, the rest of the introductory section is about supporting co-author creativity. I want this book to connect communities of inspired creative support. All through 20 Poems 20 Paintings A Creative Warrior's Journal I encourage co-authors to give and receive healing support by sharing what they create. The poems and paintings I share here document my journey through brain cancer. I curated each work to help co-authors to understand what inspired it and what I learned through writing or painting it. For each curated poem page, the book provides a mirror Your Writing page with a prompt that will help co-authors process their challenges and changes. For each curated painting page, the book provides a mirror Creative Space page with a prompt co-authors can paint, draw or collage to. I call each of these four-page sections a transformational block. These blocks provide experiential learning about overcoming fears, focusing on desired outcomes, Empowerment, Living In The Moment and Gratitude. When my co-authors share what they create, they become mentors in communities of inspired learning and support.
