We feel the artwork itself is key to your enjoyment of the colouring experience and so we have chosen to work with beautiful illustrations that you can be proud to display in your home or office. The paper in the Katy Sue Designs colouring books has been specially selected for its properties, allowing the use of a variety of pencils and pens. The illustrations are printed to one side only so there is no bleed through onto a reverse image, simply insert a leaf of paper behind the page if you are colouring with water colour pencils. Pages will lie flat allowing you to reach all parts of the illustration and can be removed easily and be trimmed by using the crop marks proved on the left hand side of each illustration for a perfect cut.The sophisticated main illustrations in this book are offered in both a shaded grey-scale and an un-shaded format to give you different looks and to help you understand where shading would naturally appear in illustrations. We understand that colouring something so beautiful can be daunting to start, so we have given you those main illustrations twice, giving you the confidence to have a go or to try out different colour combinations.Each of the 10 collections in this book contain a mixture of rich coordinating patterns and main illustrations giving you the opportunity to improve your colouring techniques for picture artwork whilst enjoying working with colour combinations in pattern pages.
