This book is dangerous. On the surface, it is an entertaining account by a British journalist about his adventures with a wild and crazy Indian mystic. But, at a deeper level, it's packed with revolutionary insights. You may laugh a the author's humorous way of telling his story, but at the same time you are confronted with disturbing ideas about love, spirituality, personal fulfilment, the nature of political power and the very glue that holds society together.
