On the Hoof: Pony Girl

Julie's story begins with a shy but headstrong young girl; the start of a lifelong love of horses and the unfolding journey of how they continue to influence her life. That is until a brain tumour devastates life as she knows it. Post-surgery, acknowledgement of a very different way forward begins. And yes, horses play their part too. Her focus to get back in the saddle, giving much needed incentive to the months of gruelling physiotherapy and then her link to the RDA who worked their special brand of magic, that no amount of physiotherapy or counselling could ever have done.
