Am I Ready Now?

Am I Ready Now? is the story of five-year-old Louie, who is eager for his first day of kindergarten. His mom, however, has mixed feelings about her "baby" growing up. But after an honest, heartfelt exchange and Louie's demonstrations of his readiness and enthusiasm, both Louie and his mom are excited about his first day of school. Jessica Schneider is a kindergarten teacher in the Parkway School District in St. Louis, Missouri. Her seven years in the classroom, teaching and guiding young, curious minds, along with the works by her favorite children's book authors, Chris Van Dusen and Dr. Seuss inspired her to write a children's book. Am I Ready Now? is the culmination of Jessica's lifelong dream.
