All Over the Road is the first book by poet and essayist, Kevin R. Carr.

As the title suggests, it contains a wide variety of styles of poetry. It also includes a diverse range of subject matter in poetry, two essays, and four collections of thoughts shared by the author on social media.

As a commentator on life and as an essayist, Mr. Carr is often amusing, sometimes thought-provoking, always entertaining. As a poet, he is candid and accessible and rarely makes a reader work hard to enjoy or understand. In fact, the poetry in this book has often been described as poetry for people who don’t normally think they like poetry. These poems are built of vivid imagery, observations on the minutia of life, honest expression of emotional responses to the world, and occasional twists of humor.
