Playing Big: A Practical Guide to Forgetting Your Limitations and Remembering the Powerful Person You Are

Marianne Williamson's words have been ringing in my ears, as a warning and a personal challenge, since I read them many years ago.
She warned against the self-betrayal of playing it safe, of allowing the 'good' to masquerade as the 'best.' She cautioned about the cost to ourselves, our communities and each other of discounting our talents and passions and forgetting who we really are.
The key is remembering to ask the questions: 'In this moment, am I Playing Big? How can I bring all my talent, creativity and passion to this situation in this moment?'
By remembering to ask the question, we begin to remember ourselves. We rediscover that we are big by Playing Big. Our transformation transforms everyone and everything around us.
We cannot serve our troubled world by playing small, but neither do we have to wait for a superhero to save the day.
We are here at last. Now all we have to do is to be fully ourselves.
