LINCOLN STREET--a novel--is the coming-of-age memoir of award-winning author Billy Howard. Set in the '50s and '60s, Billy's hometown of Coffeyville, Kansas, is in the middle of America's "fly-over country." Billy, his teenage classmates, and adult neighbors confront life's challenges that include adolescent fun, young love, marital reality, racial tension, "Sputnik," dreams of success, and murder.
