Broken

What will worship be like in Heaven? It will be the enlightenment of what the shadow of worship is on earth. It is like what CS Lewis describes in his book, The Shadowlands. What we see, we hear, we experience in this world is only a shadow, it is not the real thing. If you look at worship in this world this way, then we look forward to an experience in the redeemed world to be an experience, and a lifestyle that words cannot describe. His people will live their lives in obedience, service, love for God and one another. We will hear God and believe. May our lives be the worship, may we get up and elevate our lives in true, devout and reverent worship - Broken worship. Broken worship like the broken Mary with her broken alabaster vial poured out at the feet of Jesus; worship that anoints the feet of the Lord and which permeates the room with Jesus.
